as well as awarded Lexington with a Five Star Quality of Life
Quotient which is the highest award given in this category.
Lexington prides itself on being selected as one of the top
ten cities with the Highest Educational Attainment by the U.
S. Census Bureau. Ladies Home Journal awarded Lexington No.
13 out of the top fifteen spot for the “Best City for
Women, 2001” after considering the local economy, per
centage of women owned businesses, as well as overall job growth.
